Life has been going so smoothly for me that it sucks.
- Got a job
- Nice part-timers there! And hooray! I can finally joke around the guy part timer =D
- Nice colleagues who offer me chocolates, biscuits and what not. I think they’re evil. They’re all trying to fatten me up ):
- Chinese New Year goodies! I’m finishing them up single handedly even before Chinese New Year arrives XD
Ho ho hum. What I’m lacking now is to go on a shopping spree ^^ And darn. There’s nothing to complain about. Nothing! How rare. Oh but. Went out with Shi Hua on Sunday and we both bought perfume from Tom & Stephanie! Bwahahaha! The perfume is FOR KIDS :D It has a Donald Duck picture on it! So cute right? :) Plus, cute people use cute things. You get what I mean, don’t you? XD

There is someone whom I want to help.
I wanted to help her since last year. But I never took the first step. Now we don’t even see each other. How? Should I take the first step? We are almost akin to strangers anyway. She appears pretty contented with her life as it is. But I sense that deep down she’s not. Pity, sympathy. But that’s not what she wants. Which is why I’m rather hesitant about approaching her.
RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. And because I’m such a busy working office girl, I shall stop here.

Scene 1: Inside the company’s toilet
First let me brief you, the reader, on some background information. I’m suppose to work at my aunty’s company in time to come so I’m suppose to call her colleague(s). Here goes the conversation. Words that are italic are what went through in my mind. Note that I did not verbally outrightly speak those words! :D
Receptionist: Good morning, ABC XYZ company.
Me: Good morning, is this Miss X?
Receptionist: Sorry, Miss X is busy on the line now. May I know where are you calling from?
Me: Erm…
Me: Huh? I’m calling from Singapore lah.
Me: Erm… sorry?
Receptionist: May I know where are you calling from?
Me: Erm…
Me: I’m calling from the toilet.
Me: Actually I’m calling from my handphone.
Me: Eh I’m calling from work.
Okay. Retarded conversation. I realise that I give retarded answers too.
Scene 2: In the company’s storeroom
Me, being the admin assistant has to do rubbishy odd jobs like pushing a noisy trolley to the storeroom to take out carton boxes containing various goodies to give to customers and pack them properly before bringing them back to the storeroom for storage purposes of course.
So while I was busy trying to carry the heavy carton of boxes, I saw not one but TWO kittens! *gasp* Okay, I admit. I’m scared of the wildlife. And besides they were staring straight at me ): If anyone’s wondering how those kitties got there, it’s because the pathetic storeroom has got fake ceiling that gave way and collapsed. So there’s a hole now……………………..
Ah ha. Then I informed this guy who I presume is in charge of miscellaneous stuff (including the storeroom) about the kitties. He decided to call the pest control. Heck. When were cats pest?
Scene 3: Inside the office
Since the storeroom is now inaccessible due to the presence of cats, I have nothing to do at all :(
So I doodled! There’s nothing spectacular about doodling but I call it constructive doodling! :D
I started proving Physics formulas followed by going through mechanisms of electrophilic addition, electrophilic aromatic substitution, unimolecular nucleophilic substitution and bimolecular nucleophilic substitution :)
Anyone wants to hire me to teach them Chemistry or Physics? XD
Scene 3 Act 2
While I was bending down to open up the boxes, two sales lady walked past me. Here goes their conversation.
Lady A: She’s going tomorrow leh.
Lady B: Really?
Lady A: Yup. Tomorrow’s the 9th. It’s her last day tomorrow.
Oh dear. I think they’re talking about me. By right I was suppose to leave on the 9th. But my supervisor’s boss asked me to stay till the 15th. I think my colleagues will be rather (un)happy to find out that I’m not leaving tomorrow :T I’m rather upbeat (downbeat) about it too. Cheers.

Went for a hair cut today. Oh boy, did I have a visual treat at my own look :(
My hairstyle makes me look like a mutated mushroom head. Eeeeeeeee. And what’s worse is that I have to report for work tomorrow. And the company I work at doesn’t sell mushrooms ): (It sells cars instead)

Go here! Oh wait, finish reading this post before you click that link XD
It’s the inter jc pageant! How cool can that be eh? (: Sidenote: What a brilliant way to earn money…
Anyway, I’m sad to leave my workplace now :( My supervisor and two other colleagues are so nice to me! :( :( :( :( :( They’re the only 3 who talk to me but they treat me so well that I think I’m really going to miss them once I leave next week. Bleah.
Anyway, something hilarious happened today! XD The manager (my supervisor’s boss) who was standing 5 steps away from me, told my supervisor, “[Insert supervisor's name here], can you please ask that girl to sort this later?”
Erm. I was just 5 steps away from him………….. -____________- I wonder why he can’t say that directly to me…. Weird, but I found it pretty funny. Anyway, I told my mama that I concluded that the manager’s afraid to talk to me. Actually it seems that majority of the salesmen and saleswomen are kind of reluctant/afraid to talk to me. Half of the blame can be attributed to me since I never bothered to strike a friendly conversation at all. :( Can someone teach me how to start a conversation? Something like an idiot proof guide?
I think the other half can be attributed to my… qualifications. It seems as though me enrolling into university equates to an alien from outer space…

New years are getting boring. Anyway, happy new year to everyone out there :)
Ah wells, today unfortunately just wasn’t my day. Ho ho hum. Had a mini quarrel with my mama again. It gets on my nerve. It really does. But it’s hard to be a good daughter at times.
It all begin when my grandmother wanted a ehh… big big big family picture of literally everyone (ie. I met people I’ve either not seen for more than 6 years or haven’t seen at all in my entire life.) So she told us to reach preferably around 11am.
Yes yes. I’m fine with that. It only takes 20 minutes to reach my grandmother’s house and yet, my mama wants us to leave the house by 10am!! :( And she told us today when my sisters and I woke up at ehh… 9.15? So I pointed out to her in a rather grouchy manner that 10 was seriously too early…
So yes yes, our fault. We took our own sweet time and by the time we left our house, it was 10.30. But hey half an hour is more than enough! Then my mother lectured us (me) that we (I’m) late by half an hour!
So, I shall fast forward the rather mundane stuff of what happened in my grandmother’s house but basically, it’s greeting everyone Aunty and Uncle by default. -_-
So yes. At 3.30pm, my mama says it’s time for us to leave.
At 4.45pm, my papa says it’s time for us to leave.
By the time we actually leave, it’s 6.00pm. And this time, it’s because of my mama and papa. HMPH! HMPH! HMPH! HMPH! HMPH!
Okay. I’m sounding whiny. But anyway, an uncle of mine and my grandmother’s maid complimented me today! :) They said I looked pretty *blush blush blush* XD
Shall go jogging in eh, 15 minutes time. And my mama’s angry at me again. For not eating dinner (before I jog)…… Sighs. What a nice headstart to a fabulous new year eh? And I just realise that quite a number of people from my junior college are going to the University of Melbourne. Ho ho hum. Remind me not to go there :)
And I still haven’t decided what to study in university. Hooray for that….
