I got an admin job last week :) (By right it’s suppose to be an admin job but oh my, it turned out to be doing odd jobs like moving boxes by myself and doing packaging etc along with… removing staples, folding papers and inserting them into envelopes.) The sales people there more or less thought I was hired to specially move boxes and pack them. How funny.
I have more than 10 paper cuts on my fingers so far. Boo.
And I told my supervisor I’m going to quit 2 days back =) If all goes well, the 9th of Jan shall be my last day of work. AHAHA. I’m looking forward to it in fact.
Anyone care to beat my record?

?!?!?! So fast? Its like I had the impression you just started your job or something lol. You must be too lazy right? :P lol, jkjk…..thx for your christmas card btw and looking for another job? ;) lol.

Whoa, you’re resigning so quickly? The job must have been really bad, eh? :P
They usually make temp stuff do manual labour like this. It’s really common. Unfortunately, there is nothing much we can do about it except to comply. :( I was dumped with a lot of mundane stuff during my temp jobs previously as well.

yoz, girl, same same lah, average of at least 2 paper cuts per day! not to forgt about 3 staple cuts each day too…and i’m supposed to help pack the storeroom and pack stuffs in the storerm into boxes, move stacks of papers into the storerm and shift boxes!!! can i beat ur record now?… haha, and er…i’ll be jobless on the coming new year! how great can that be? a super nice new year present eh?… haha

Ahhh, 10 paper cuts in one day? You better be really really careful! :(
Hopefully you can find a better job soon, moving boxes around all by yourself is not fun. Gahh.
Anyway, congrats on the EAGLES and good progress award. I’m sure you’ll do well for your A levels as well.

That’s fast! Admin jobs are usually boring because you have to do all the miscellaneous stuff as well. I spent the first 3 weeks of my temp job folding letters and placing them into envelopes. -.-

haha..that’s fast!hmm..then i have better ‘book’ you in advance so that your present can get to you..lol..your present can’t wait to go to you!lol..and of course thanks for the christmas card too!if you didn’t like the admin job maybe you can go try some other kinds which you think you like..for example like go for attachment in some company which is tourism related so you can tell if you would like to take the course..doing admin at those company may also be able to help you understand what it is like..
